EXERCISE; TYPE SAMPLES

I managed to buy the book under the title: “Encyclopaedia of typefaces” by Jaspert, Berry and Johnson. This book contains 405 pages of different typefaces, which happens to be very helpful for this exercise. I can highly recommend this book to everyone on this course.

SERIF  is the small cross-stroke at the end of the stroke. I tried to find as many examples of serif typefaces as I could use Microsoft word.  All my typefaces are in the size 18 pt.

SANS-SERIFS are the typefaces without serifs.

I was so pleased with this task as I could use all different typefaces from the cards that I got a few months ago when my baby boy was born. I think that this is a nice collection of typefaces use by designers for this occasion as a celebration of a new baby. Some of them are serifs and some of them are sans serifs nevertheless all of them look pretty and sweet on the cards.
